The Perfect Man is a 2005 romantic comedy film directed by Mark Rosman and written by Gina Wendkos. It stars Hilary Duff, Heather Locklear and Chris North.
The film is about a young girl who's mother has a series of new boyfriends and after every break-up she would be forced to move homes. The young girl is sick of moving so pretends to be a man to her mother, writing letters to her etc which leads to the mother really liking him. however the man that the young girl is pretending to be is based on a real life character which her mother eventually meets and begins a relationship with.
This is similar to our film as our two main charcters also dont know who eachother whilst talking almost everyday. this is only revealed at the end again like The Perfect Man.

2. She's the Man is a 2006 American romantic comedy film directed by Andy Fickman, based on Twelfth Night, a play by William Shakespeare. The film stars Amanda Bynes, Channing Tatum, Laura Ramsey and Vinnie Jones.
The film centers around teenager Viola Hastings who enters her brother's school in his place, pretending to be male, in order to play with the boys' soccer team.
This is a film about a young girl who pretends to be a man because she wants to play football, and has been refused to play in the boys team as a girl. She manages to keep this for quite a while throughout the film, however she ends up liking one of he players.
This is again similar to our film as our two main charcters also dont know who eachother whilst talking almost everyday. Has the same idea of pretending to be someone your not.
