Synopsis: Boy texts his girlfriend asking to meet up to talk about their relationship. They meet up and the boy tells her he doesn’t think things are working, they both decide that they just aren’t right for each other and that they should split up. Even though it was kind of a joint decision they both go home upset and wondering what to do with their selves as they are so used to being together. Girl sits at home comfort eating, feeling sorry for herself and ringing her friends for sympathy and company. Unfortunately most do not pick up and the ones that do are too busy with their boyfriends to care, making the girl feel even more upset and lonely. She is watching daytime TV as an advert for match.com, a new internet dating website, comes on. She pauses the TV and runs over to the computer where she types in the website address and begins to read the success stories on it. After doing so she realises that signing up could help her to find a new partner that is perfect for her and begins to register. Boy gets his post the next morning, looks through it and finds a leaflet for internet dating. He looks at it, thinks about it but screws it up and throws it in the bin. As the week goes by the girl continues to visit the website, creating her profile and using an avatar to symbolise herself. She takes numerous tests and is finally given a few matches to start chatting to. She begins to get to know her matches and finally narrows it down to the one she feels the most connection with after doing so. In order to stay safe they she does not reveal her personal details and instead just talks about her interests, discovering that she has quite a lot in common with him. Another week goes by where she is running in everyday after college as she cannot wait to talk to ‘her match’. Finally her match decides to ask her if she wants to meet up at the weekend. She jumps at the chance as she feels he could definitely be the one. They decide on a time and place and continue to chat until the time comes. She becomes more and more excited as the days go by until their date finally arrives. She gets ready; doing everything she can to ensure she looks her absolute best for her 'match’. She is nervous to finally meet him but at the same time excited to see who she has being making a connection with over the past few weeks. Both her and her match arrive at the place agreed around the same time and look around to see who each other could be and as they turn they discover that they are actually each other. Shocked, the girls asks what the boy is doing there and the boy asks her the same thing. There is a lot of confusion until they finally realise that all along their matches have in fact being each other. They finally realise that their perfect match is each other, kissing and deciding to get back together. The last shot shows the unscrewed leaflet at the side of the original boys computer showing that he got the leaflet out of the bin, unscrewed it, registered and began to talk to his 'match'.
