Viral Ideas

One of our ideas is to do a viral similar to the one used to advertise the film 'Shifty' where we would create a picture that would allow recipients to 'frame their friend' by putting a photo of their faces into our picture. The theme which we would use if we decided to use this idea would be to create their own animated character, as used on Perfect Match in place of a photo to protect their identity, whilst allowing them to represent themselves. This would be an effective way to virally advertise our film as it not only links to the storyline of our film, but is easy to send around and is fun so people would do so.

Another one of our ideas is to organise a flash mob scene like the videos below. We would relate it to our film by using a love song and by coupling everyone up to dance, including our two main characters. This would be an effective way of virally advertising our film as it would introduce our characters as well as the theme to our film. It is also easy for people to send the link to all their friends who would hopefully enjoy it and want to watch our film.

Our final idea is to create a video featuring our two main characters singing (miming) and dancing along to a love song. It would be over dramatised to make it funny so that people would send it on to their friends. It would switch from the girl to the boy, as well as showing parts where they are performing together. This would also be an effective way of virally advertising our film as it would introduce our characters as well as getting the word out about our film.
